This presentation consists of two pillars. First, a result of a review study on existing proposals on post-2012 is briefly explained. According to a study organized at the National Institute for Environmental Studies (NIES) which reviewed more than 100 literature on post-2012, about 80 % of all the proposals were being made by authors in the EU or those in the U.S. Among proposals from authors in the EU member countries, the most popular type of study was a way to allocate emissions to all countries including non-Annex I countries. Authors in the U.S. preferred elaboration of international emissions trading rules.
